What is Micro-needling

Microneedling is non-invasive! Little to no downtown time.

This revolutionary procedure has many applications and can be used on any skin type!!!! Even better, Micro-needling isn't exclusive to just the face. While it's the skin area most often treated, the procedure can be done anywhere the skin on the body needs a collagen boost, particularly those with stretch marks, like the legs, chest, or butt. We can customize your treatment, allowing you to target the skin on any area of your body. We explain it more in detail here

Micro-Needling works by using a  tattoo pen's mechanical action to allow needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled injury at a specific depth. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body's natural healing process to fill these micro-wounds by producing new collagen and elastin in the skin's upper layer called the dermis.

How soon will I see results?

OUR GOAL when creating our studio NudeTatu was to make skincare affordable. Microneedling along with many other choices out there is not a miracle cure. Facials, peels, microdermabrasion, etc, are not a One-time treatment and are done. These treatments are supposed to improve your skin over time with amazing results. Yes, will you see results after one treatment. Microneedling keeps working even after your treatment for almost a month when your skin sheds. Your skin will feel softer and smoother and you will see small noticeable changes. However, multiple sessions are recommended to see major improvements and target specific skin concerns. With that being said the average person cannot afford to keep up with their skincare needs. This is where we wanted to make microneedling options as affordable as possible so you can try it out for yourselves and even manage to keep up with your skincare needs by offering our SkinFit Membership options, which allow us to lower the price even more for you! 

 

Does microneedling hurt? 

First-timers normally tend to be a little or a lot on the nervous side when first coming in. After all we are about to poke you with a bunch of needles so being nervous is expected. However, no need to be nervous.  Our clients actually say it's very relaxing and don't want to leave.  They actually get sad when they hear the vibration of the machine stop.  We provide a very relaxing atmosphere with heated massage beds you lay on during treatment. 

If medical needing is occurring numbing cream is provided to make your session just as comfortable. 

We even have friends and small groups that come in and get pampered together!  We offer ref, and reshments, drinks, massagers, and more!

Relax and hang out without having to be separated from each other during treatment.

What’s the downtime requirement like for microneedling treatment?

Unlike vampire facials and chemical peels, the downtime required after a microneedling procedure is shorter than you might think. 

• Chemical peels require extended downtime because your skin is actually peeling.

• But with Nano and Cosmetic needling there is no downtime, and with medical microneedling, you’ll have just a single day of redness with most patients reporting that their redness was gone after 8-12 hours. On this day your skin may be sensitive and you’ll avoid using makeup as well. 

• You’ll also skip the scabbing you’d have with a chemical peel and you can return to your typical skincare routine the next day

• It’s also worth mentioning that you’ll start to feel the results from your microneedling appointment like an improved skin texture after your first treatment and by your third treatment, you can expect to have noticeably visible results with fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and skin tone.

 

How often can I schedule my microneedling appointments?

we have different treatments available and we list them with how often you can have it done. When first starting out we do recommend 2 sessions in either the 1st or 2nd month to give your skin a little extra TLC in the beginning to not have to work as hard!
