5 Important Serum to Have in Your Skincare Routine



1. Vitamin C Serum:


Vitamin C serum is a great antioxidant that aids to treat pigmentation. It also helps to protect our skin from reactive oxygen which prematurely age the skin. It helps to brighten our skin and improve skin texture. It also protects us from sun damage. So, it’s recommended to use in the morning before sunscreen. It also can be used at night.

2. Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA):


AHA is a group of plant or derived acids that can be used in the form of Toners, cleansers, serum, and masks. It helps to exfoliate the skin by removing the dead skin cells and helps to generate new skin cells. As it removes the dead skin cells it enables to increase the product absorption. It prevents acne breakouts and whiteheads. It visibly brightens the skin. It’s recommended to use once or twice a week.



3. Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA):


BHA is also called salicylic acid which is oil soluble and it works on the upper layer of the skin. It helps to penetrate the skin’s oil to exfoliate the pore lining. It helps to reduce blackheads, clogged pores. It's mainly suitable for oily/combination skin types. It can be used in the form of serums, toners, etc. It’s recommended to use it twice a week.





Hyaluronic acid is a gooey and clear substance that is produced in our body, especially from our connective tissue and eyes. It helps to hydrate and moisturize the skin, as it‘s water-based in texture. It helps to treat fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars. It promotes healthier skin. It also helps wounds to heal faster by signally our body to build more blood vessels in the damaged area. It can be used regularly before moisturizer. Especially if you have dry skin, it’s a must to introduce hyaluronic acid in your skincare routine.
