BB GLOW - Does it actually work, and is it worth it?

When I first heard about BB Glow, it definitely caught my attention. This sounded amazing for someone like me, who always wears foundation and makeup when I leave the house! Even when not leaving the house, I always apply BB Cream Tarte Amazonian Clay BB tint moisturizer to my face. I don't have perfect porcelain skin anywhere near, especially in my 40's and wrinkles have kicked in. Oh, and let's not forget a 2-year old that still doesn't sleep through the night.. which now has given me the awful no sleep tired bags under my eyes look. YAY!
SO Naturally, my next step was to learn all about it and learn how to do it myself. I can honestly say I love it, but I'm also realistic about my expectations. I knew going in this wasn't gonna give me all of a sudden that porcelain skin I never had. If you already have that perfect complexion, this will be even more amazing and give you that perfect dew glow! For me, well, it did what my BB cream does as far as coverage for me after my first session. Again I expected that because this is meant to be a buildable product... meaning you should have 3-5 sessions every 2-3 weeks to build and maintain the color for a longer time. The First time you get it done, the coverage effect might only last a couple of days, or it can last 7. There is no way to know. By the end of your 3-4 sessions, your coverage could stay 4-6 months with touch-ups in between.
Now here's why I like it so much and will continue to do it. During the BB Glow treatment, you are essentially getting the nano infusion/micro-needling treatment done along with it. Awesome, right! Nano Infusion includes a cocktail of serums/oils to help skin conditions and help your skin look refreshed. Yup, they are gonna help with the wrinkles and those bags under the eyes, etc. So it's a win-win for me. I get the benefits of nano infusion along with the extra benefits of BB Glow. Right away after the first session, I felt good and left with a fresh glow, even more of a glow with using the BB serum. It is recommended not to wash your face for 24 hrs after doing the BB Glow treatment. That first day it did fill like I had a layer of makeup from the BB cream, but it felt natural and fresh by the next morning. I didn't have as much of a Glow the next morning, but I did have coverage as a bb cream would do, and I could tell the difference in my forehead wrinkles and bags under the eye. Had a minor feel of a sunburned face. I wouldn't even say sunburn, more like It felt like my face got a little sun
nothing hurt, and the feel of face felt amazing
I still didn't feel comfortable leaving the house without my full foundation coverage on the first session; however, I did go without applying my bb cream first. There was no need since I felt my problem areas I normally used my bb cream were covered up with the treatment. By the third session, I was ok with leaving the house for a Target or grocery store run without first applying my foundation. The fourth session was even better and had a nice decent coverage that I probably could go out for the day, and people would say I looked great. That, however, is not me. I think I will be a girl that always wears foundation. I am not going to lie, but I can say I use a lot less of it. I have always used Kat Von D full coverage lock it foundation and now use a lot less of it and If I can actually say, or shall we say, type the words gonna look into a light/medium coverage now as I feel I no longer need the "full coverage" so all in all I give a thumbs up to BB glow treatment to keep your skin feeling refreshed with a bonus of a light bb serum!!!

If you were to ask me again do I love BB Glow?? my answer would be ABSOLUTELY!!
I absolutely love BB Glow. Besides my custom blend serums for anti-aging, this is my go-to treatment!!
Now, although it's one of my favorites, I want to express that it is very much on the temporary side. At least the coverage is. Now, do I have a few clients that get longer-lasting results than most? Yes! I always tell my clients before doing this treatment and explain that this might be something you keep up with monthly to keep the BB Cream coverage look. But here's the thing The BB Glow treatment, in general, is amazing for your skin. Everything we are doing during your session is only improving the texture of your skin and look. We add serums to target specific skin concerns as we would do in a rational microneedling session. The only difference is we are adding the Plant-based tinted cream as a final step - which is also full of good nutrients for the skin. So getting the BB GLOW is a bonus added on top of a typical session!!! Now how long that extra coverage really depends on your skin and home aftercare and skincare routine. Now ill be honest I have not been able to get mine to stay as long as they say it can last. Truth Mine doesn't stay very long at all. The more I keep up with it, it does last longer, but you are still talking Weeks vs. Months. DO I love it every time I do it ... I sure do! I always tell my clients that if this is something they want to keep up with, we provide our monthly memberships to make it affordable. I just wanted to give a little update and say I don't want people thinking 3 treatments, and you will have the flawless coverage look for month after month.
I will say try it because you will love it !!!
